A Sam Smith And Ed Sheeran Mashup By Sam Tsui Is A Remarkable Achievement You Have To See

Sam Tsui has become quite a musical sensation with his YouTube channel. According to his website, his YouTube videos have amassed over 500 million views combined.

The Yale graduate (with a degree in classical Greek!) is new to me. Apparently, I’ve very late to this boat.

Someone sent me this video because they thought I’d like it. I’m so happy they did! I’ve since been perusing his music collection on YouTube. I really like some of his stuff.

This song is particularly good, because I really enjoy both of these songs. Aside from Ed Sheeran’s ‘Thinking Out Loud’ and Sam Smith’s ‘I’m Not the Only One” both having become huge hits by British singers, I don’t think I would have ever realized their similarities. On the other hand, maybe he’s just that good at making them seem similar.

Casey Breves, singing the Sam Smith half of the song, is a singer from New York City. He was previously a member of male classical vocal ensemble Chanticleer based out of San Francisco.
