Eric Church Remembers His Days of Listening to Springsteen

I wouldn’t call myself a country fan, per se, but sometimes it just hits the spot. I particularly enjoy the songs with an easy ballad feel to them, like this great song by Eric Church called and about listening to Springsteen. Clearly I’m not alone in my sentiment about Springsteen, as the video has over 15 million views.

The song definitely has the twang that is typically associated with country music, but it’s a simple song that speaks more than anything to the crossover appeal of The Boss.

Not only did the song by the North Carolina native itself fly to the #1 spot, but it also helped catapult the album, Chief, to that spot as well.
