I love Hozier’s deep melodic voice. It’s so crisp and distinct.
Hozier released Take Me To Church with his debut album in 2013, hitting the charts in Europe. However, it didn’t start to gain traction in the U.S. until it’s re-release with his second album, Hozier.
Since then, the song catapulted to the Billboard charts and has been hanging around the top five ever since.
The Irish singer wrote the song in response to some of the violent acts performed against members of the LGBT community in recent years. The song has been nominated as Song of the Year for this years Grammy Awards.
