Merry Christmas everyone!
John Denver and The Muppets are a must in this household. My favorite track from the album includes this story and song about Alfie the Christmas Tree.
Above, you’ll find the original video. It’s rather entertaining to watch this clip from 1979! After the story John Denver tells is full of classic Muppet humor mixed among the sadness that comes with being homesick during the holidays.
But if you want to hear just the original track that was released with the album and subsequently re-released in 2000 and 2006, you’ll find that audio below. I actually like that version better.
Even if your Christmas isn’t white, enjoy this day with those you love, or anyway you can.
