Beyonce Does The Impossible! She Actually Improved Her Huge Hit ‘Crazy In Love’

So, I don’t gush over songs very often. Very rarely, actually (the Sia performance on SNL was a rare example). I have no problems with gushing over particular artists, but less so individual songs. I also hate posting videos that are still images, but I had to break that rule again.

Beyoncé’s new remix of her own smash hit ‘Crazy In Love’ is one definite exception. This song is truly amazing.

It is deep and powerful to a degree that I was not expecting. It makes the original song (which I’ve posted below in case you want to compare the two) seem almost childish by comparison. Take a look yourself:

Do you see what I mean? The new version is strong with seduction, but with a lot of maturity, too. The old hit was Beyoncé’s first number 1 hit as a solo artist, a whopping 12 years ago! The song is considered one of the most important songs of the 2000’s, and who would have guessed that the 33 year old Texan would resurrect it many years later.

The song is on the Fifty Shades of Grey soundtrack, but is only available if you purchase the whole album.
