Grace Mitchell Has A Unique Voice And Sound That Are Helping Her Climb Charts

This is fun song and video. And I have to say that Grace Mitchell is quite unique. She has a voice that is not like any other in the music industry today, which is quite appealing to me.

Grace Mitchell is a bit elusive online, as it turns out, though. She’s from Portland, Oregon but recently moved to Los Angeles once she signed to a record label. While she was on vacation in Hawaii, this song suddenly when wild, with her learning that it was doing well because people started to message her.

The eighteen year old is taking off pretty fast, it seems. Her biggest musical influence, I think it might be obvious, is Joni Mitchell, but also Alanis Morisette and Lana Del Rey.

Regarding this song, which she released at the end of November, she was quoted as saying that it was “inspired by a breakup and ended up evolving into a song about being empowered and experiencing sadness in a healthy way.”

I’ve been told that the video is rather perfect because most girls have experienced that kind of night with friends, just dancing and having fun and not having a care in the world.
