I honestly believe that you can tell the difference between a song written by the singer and one that isn’t. I think this is particularly true with love songs.
‘All of Me’ clearly fits into the former category, I think. John Legend isn’t just singing the words, it comes across as if he is feeling them, too. My sentiment, it appears, is not alone, as critics have roundly complimented his vocals on this track.
