‘Uptown Funk’ Gets Me Into A Deep Groovy With Mark Ronson and Bruno Mars

The first time I heard this song, I wasn’t impressed. I’m not a huge funk fan.

However, as I’ve listened to it more, it’s come to grow on me. I actually really like the deep, very dancable groove the song gets into.

Mark Ronson, the British artist and producer who created this track, has crafted a very legitimate funk sound that is clearly born out of a love for the genre. Ronson has previously worked with Amy Winehouse and Adele, among others.

Ronson tapped Hawaii native Bruno Mars to provide the vocals to Uptown Funk, making good use of the singers unique sound and meteoric fame.

Indeed, Uptown Funk has topped the iTunes download charts this week.
