‘Show me how big your brave is!’
Sara Bareilles has one of the most beautiful voices in music today. And although I’ve never seen an interview with her or anything, she comes across as such a nice person.
Bareilles is often associated with Ingrid Michaelson and Regina Spektor, with people debating who is better between them (my choice is well-known, with my opinion being that the other two don’t have the same vocal range). Interestingly, all of them are 35, with the former two with birthdays a day apart in December and Spektor being just over two months younger.
Sara Bareilles jumped into the North American music scene in 2007 with her song ‘Love Song’. Her mainstream success can be largely attributed to iTunes featuring that song as it’s free single of the week, which quickly caused the album to fly to the top of the downloads charts.
The California native speaks Italian, having lived there for a year, and spent a couple years prior to 2007 as an opening act for various well-known artists before becoming a headliner herself.

I absolutely love Sara Bareilles! I went to one of her concerts about five years ago and it was awesome. She is so talented and brings attention to such important social topics.

Love Song became a large hit during that time and I remember that our local radio plays it as requested over and over again like a broken record. It’s amazing that Sara knows how to speak in Italian!
we are big Sara Bareilles fans! Her music is very positive and I have no concerns listening to her songs with my children present. One of my favs is her Brave song–its’ great! She has a great voice and is a talented musician as well!
